Friends of Lothiansound

 

Friends support Lothiansound by gifting money and equipment. Although the many hours of work necessary to produce Lothiansound are free, there are other running costs. The volunteers raise these in various ways and donations are always welcome!

As a Friend of Lothiansound, you can look forward to an invitation to attend social events and the Annual General Meeting.

Gift Aid

The Gift Aid Scheme covers most donations, including regular donations made by bank standing order and one-off donations. There is no minimum donation. The basic rate tax that you've already paid on the amount of your donation can be reclaimed from the Inland Revenue by Lothiansound, thereby significantly increasing the value of your gift to Lothiansound at no added cost to you. Completion of a very simple declaration form is necessary in order to take advantage of Gift Aid. This form only has to be signed once and covers all donations made thereafter, until cancelled by you.

If you do not pay UK income tax, you should not use this method of giving.
